Nvidia's Upcoming RTX 4060 Ti Graphics Card: Better than 3070 Ti at 3060 Ti Price?

According to the latest rumors, Nvidia is planning to release the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card at the same price as the RTX 3060 Ti, which is $399, while this card has similar performance to the RTX 3070 Ti.

According to the latest rumors, Nvidia is expected to release the RTX 4060 Ti with the same price tag as its younger brother, the RTX 3060 Ti, and gamers will be able to buy it for $399. This is while earlier a YouTuber had announced a $450 price for the RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards.

In March, the first rumors about the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card emerged, and leakers announced that it would be released in the month of May. The card has a bigger brother named RTX 4070, which is stronger and more expensive, but it has not been well received so far, which is why it is speculated that the RTX 4060 Ti will be more popular due to its lower price.

It should be noted that the RTX 3060 Ti faced many problems at the time of its release, such as bulk purchases by miners and scalpers, which kept it largely out of the hands of gamers. But fortunately, the market situation has now changed, and with more supply than demand and the improvement of the production of various chips, many graphics cards are available for purchase below the MSRP.

Probable specifications of the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card: It is expected that Nvidia will use the AD106-350-A1 die for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics processor, which will be a weaker version of the 5nm AD106 chip. According to rumors, the RTX 4060 Ti graphics processor will have 4352 CUDA cores in the form of 34 Streaming Multiprocessor (SM) units. In contrast, the RTX 4070 uses all the resources of this chip with 5888 CUDA cores, along with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory with a 192-bit interface.

It is said that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards are equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory clocked at 18 Ghz with a 128-bit interface (bus), providing a memory bandwidth of 288 GB/s. It is also rumored to have 32 MB of L2 cache memory, which, if true, would represent an 8-fold increase over the RTX 3060 Ti. Despite the rumors, the possibility of using faster and more expensive GDDR6X memory chips is also being considered.
