I understand that you are having an issue with your hard drive. I will be more than happy to assist you with this. The drive is a very reliable internal hard drive. I would recommend running SeaTools for DOS on the drive. SeaTools for DOS is a drive diagnostic that will check the health of your drive to confirm the drive is or has actually failed. You will want to run both the Short and Long Generic Tests.
