اکثریت دوستان شرکت Sapphire تولید کننده مطرح و قدر کارتهای گرافیک ATI/AMD و نیز شریک تجاری شماره یک ATI رو کامل میشناسید.

این شرکت بزرگ در سال 2008 برخی سیاستهای جدیدی رو آغاز نموده که یکی از اونها ساخت و یا در واقع سفارش ساخت مادربرد به شرکتهای صاحب نام و تولید به نام خودش میباشد. (یه جور OEM). البته صرفا مادربردهایی که از چیپست های AMD/ATI در طراحی وساخت اونها استفاده میشه و باطبع برای CPUهای نسل جدید AMD خواهد بود.

در اولین قدم در این راستا، این شرکت سفارش ساخت اولین سری از مادربردهای خودش رو برای جلب نظر و توجه بازار خودش به شرکت معتبر DFI داده است.

این مادربردها از چیپست AMD 790FX بهره میبرند.

Sapphire believes that motherboards will become more and more important and it wants a piece of that pie. It is currently manufacturing the AMD 790FX based motherboard and, believe it or not, it is manufactured by the engineers at DFI.

The company wants to offer much better motherboards, as it knows that this has been its weak point. Who could be the best to work with than DFI, and we believe that this is a quite important decision for the future of Sapphire.

It can barely grow much more in the graphics market, but it can certainly increase its presence in the motherboard market, and this is the plan for 2008 and years to come.
