* Ultra Durable 3 Classic: Designed to keep the board working almost indefinitely, UD3R features two ounces of copper in the power and ground layers, theoretically lowering system temperature. According to Gigabyte, the super-copper PCB offers better durability, better energy efficiency, and better overclocking.
* Japanese Solid Capacitors: Rated for 50,000, these capacitors come straight out of Japan and allegedly increase the longevity of the board.
* Dynamic Energy Saver Advanced: A nifty utility that throttles down various subsystems when full power isn't necessary, reducing the load on the PSU and therefore reducing your energy bill. Of course, if you load up powerful software DESA throttles up and immediately provides the necessary power to run your games or applications.
* DualBIOS: Safeguards your BIOS flashing efforts with a pair of physical BIOS ROMs onboard—if one fails, the other takes over.
* Q-Flash: Lets you update the system BIOS right from the BIOS setup program, while @BIOS lets you flash the BIOS right from within Windows. It downloads the latest BIOS from the 'Net and updates on the fly.
* Xpress Recovery2: Allows you to plop a backup of important system data for quick restoration in case of a crash.
