جزئیاتی درباره معماری Sandy Bridge در پردازنده های Intel

mainstream quad-core Sandy Bridge chip will have four cores with 256KB L2 cache and initial estimates for clock speeds range from 2.8GHz to 3.4GHz, with a Turbo mode that should take one core to clock speeds of 3.8GHz to 4GHz. Sandy Bridge will have a 32nm integrated graphics core (1.0GHz to 1.4GHz) that is connected to the L3 cache, integrated dual-channel DDR3-1600 memory controller and the Sandy Bridge System Agent (Northbridge) that offers PCIe 2.0, DMI and PCU. It also features HyperTreading, AVX Ext instruction set, 256-bit vectors, 4 operands, AEX instructions, unrestricted VMX, shared 8MB L3 cache.

و اولین تخمین ها زده شده که رنج سرعتی این پردازنده ها از 2.80 تا 3.40 گیگا هرتز هست و با قابلیت Turbo میتونند داشته باشند سرعتی معادل 3.80GHz تا 4.00GHz .

Sandy Bridge داره یک گرافیک مجتمع 32 نانو متری ( هسته 1.00GHz تا 1.40GHz ) که وصل شده به کش L3 ، و مموری کنترلر مجتمع داره که میتونه ساپرت کنه DDR3 1600 Dual channel رو و در قسمت دیگری Sandy Bridge Agent قرار داره که شامل یک هاب PCI-Express و DMI هست.

Dual-core and eight-core Sandy Bridge processors will also be available, but details about those chips aren't available yet.

Sandy Bridge داره دو هسته ای و 8 هسته ای ، اما اطلاعاتی در مورد جزئیات این مدل ها هنور موجود نیست .

در مورد گرافیک مجتمع این معماری همانطور که عماد جان ذکر کردند قابلیت سازگاری با DX11 رو دارند و با یک هسته 1.20GHz و در قسمت PCI-E قابلیت پشتبانی از 2 عدد PCI-E هست که یک عدد x16 و یک عدد x4 ورژن 2 .
