AMD/ATI releases Catalyst 9.4 for Vista/7, XP x86/x64

Performance Improvements
Catalyst™ 9.4 brings new performance benefits with multi-threading support:
* Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, gains up to 10% on all HD 4000 multi-GPU setups, and up to 5% on single-GPU setups
* Team Fortress 2, gains up to 15% for single-GPU setups
* World of Warcraft, gains up to 80% for multi-GPU setups, up to 20% for single-GPU setups
* Side-port can now be enabled by the user under Catalyst™ Control Center manually under the ATI CrossFire™ option for all HD 4870 X2 series products

Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating System
This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI Catalyst™
Software Suite for Windows Vista. These include:
* ATI Hybrid CrossFire™ Technology now works correctly with Vista Service Pack 1 and Windows 7
* ATI AVIVO Encoder is now available for the Vista 64-bit Operating System
