خنک کننده مذکور بر اساس تکنولوژی Vapor Chamber برای اولین بار بر روی کارت Atomic HD 3870 و پس از آن بر روی HD 4870 Toxic بکار گرفته شد.
این تکنولوژی از سه لایه اصلی تشکیل شده است : لایه انتقال , لایه تبخیر و لایه تغلیظ ( میعان گاز ).
سیال موجود در بخش انتقال پس از دریافت حرارت از نقطه داغ ( بعنوان مثال هسته کارت ) بصورت گاز ( بخار ) در آمده و سپس از مسیر معین به لایه آخر ( لایه تغلیظ یا میعان گازی ) می رسد و در آنجا با دفع حرارت مجددا حالت مایع خود را بدست می آورد. در نهایت این مایع مجددا به بخش انتقال باز گشته و برای انجام مجددا این پروسه مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد.

AMD's newest line of desktop graphics cards in the making, Radeon HD 4700, will be launched in weeks to come. The Radeon HD 4770 model in particular, is the company's move to compete with NVIDIA's GeForce 9800 GT, while at some highly competitive price-points. Earlier in February, a sample made its way to Guru3D, which revealed quite a bit about the SKU. It looks like AMD's partners, at least HIS, is ready with its HD 4770 card, according to a press-shot leaked by Chinese website ITOCP.
The pictures show the card to feature a PCB visibly identical to the reference PCB candidate spotted on the Guru3D sample, while featuring a company-designed cooler. The cooler consists of a GPU block from which metal fins project radially, on which a fan is present, decked with a fancy shroud. Also pictured are the box design, and package contents. The common features of the Radeon HD 4770 are known to be: 40 nm RV740 GPU, 640 stream processors, 128-bit GDDR5 memory interface, and CrossFireX support. This card features 512 MB of memory. The price of this card is not known, though AMD reportedly set a US $99 target SEP price for the Radeon HD 4770.

در طول سه ماه قبل از 26 آوريل 2009 ميزان درآمدهاي شركت Nvidia به 664.2 ميليون دلار رسيد كه اين رقم نسبت به درآمدهاي 1.2 ميليارد دلاري در سه ماهه نخست سال ماري 2009 اين شركت كاهش 42 درصدي را نشان ميدهد.

The GTX 275 is based upon TSMC's 55 nanometer process and has 1.4 Billion transistors. The move from 65 nanometer to 55 nanometer reduced the die size from 576mm2 to 470mm2 and reduced power usage from the GTX280 from 236W to 216W. Strangely the power consumption on the GTX275 is more than on the GTX285 which has more ROPs, a higher memory bandwidth and higher clock speeds.
The GTX 275 has the same number of Stream Processors as the GTX280, 240 to be exact. The number of texture units is 80 and the number of ROPs (Outputted pixels) is 28. This compares to 240:80:32 on the GTX285/280, 216/80/28 on the GTX 260 216 core, 192/72/28 on the GTX 260 original card. The memory controller on the GTX 275 is a 448-bit memory controller. With a memory speed of 2268MHz this offers 127GB/second of memory bandwidth.
The major push by NVIDIA right now is PhysX support by their graphics cards only. Games like Mirror's Edge, Unreal Tournament 3, Cryostasis and others are using PhysX to simulate real physics in a game like smoke, fog, destructible environments, wind and more. PhysX will be coming to other games as we move further into 2009 and into 2009. You can of course run PhysX effects on the CPU but that would take a lot of CPU cycles meaning that it would be a sideshow.
The GeForce GTX275 supports all of the DirectX 10.0 features including Pixel Shader 4.0, Vertex Shader 4.0, the Geometry Shaders and more. Games like Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, and many others use DirectX 10.0 to bring unparalleled levels of realism with beautiful graphics and good performance that DirectX 9.0c games just can't match. ATI released DirectX 10.1 supporting cards in 2007 with the release of the HD 3800 series, but few games use these effects to date.
Gigabyte is touting the GV-N275UD-896H card as having the Ultra Durable VGA features. The PCB is made with 2 oz of Copper, allowing the card to operate at lower temperatures, higher clock speeds and higher overclocking expandability. They claim 5-10% lower GPU temperatures, 10-30% power switching loss and 10-30% overclocking capability. They use Japanese Solid capacitors on the card, along with Lower RDS (on)

he Gigabyte GeForce GTX 275 is an interesting beast of a card. It is designed to compete directly with the ATI Radeon HD 4890 and does a great job of doing just that. In the vast majority of cases the Gigabyte card beats the HD 4890 in performance with the exception of a DirectX 10.1 title like Tom Clancy's HAWX. NVIDIA made some good choices with the GTX 275, including having the GTX295 core but with the memory controller of the GTX 260. This hybrid combination offers higher performance across the board versus a GeForce GTX260 216 core card and nearly competes in a lot of cases with the GeForce GTX 285. The Gigabyte card overclocks to 620MHz totally stable, which is just a tad over 10% over the standard clocked reference board. To play games with PhysX effects turned on, NVIDIA cards are the only way to go. Cryostasis, the latest game to use PhysX, has its frame rate drop to single digits on a Radeon HD 4890 while it is playable on a GTX275.

NVIDIA’s G300 Clockspeeds Leaked Out

Since NVIDIA G300 has been already taped out, the engineering sample is expected to be out soon. The German hardware website Hardware-infos has unveiled the frequencies of G300.
The samples of G300-A1-Stepping are coming with core/shader/memory clock of 700/1600/1100MHz. As we reported, the G300 features 512 stream processors, so the theoretical computing capacity should reach 2457GFLOPS.
Thanks to the application of GDDR5 memory, the memory bandwidth achieves impressive 281.6GB/s, which is 2 times more than GTX 280. Of course the specs of retail edition might be a bit different, and we’ll let you know once we hear more details.

در دنیای کامپیوتر اخبار فراوانی وجود دارند که برخی از آنها بیشتر شبیه به شایعه بوده و نمی توان حساب زیادی روی آن باز کرد که در طول زمان توسط شرکت های مختلف مورد تایید یا رد واقع می شوند. در همین راستا امروز شرکت ATI بطور رسمی اعلام کرد که کارت گرافیک جدید این شرکت، R800، مجهز به دو پردازشگر گرافیکی با معماری 40 نانومتری است و این شرکت قصد تغییر استراتژی از معماری X2 را ندارد.
اگرچه این خبر خود به تنهایی جذابیت آنچنانی ندارد، اما ارائه یک ویژگی جدید در این محصول موجب توجه است و آن اینکه بر خلاف RV870 هر دو پردازشگر R800 قادر به استفاده ازDirectX 11 هستند و این خبر بسیار خوشایندی برای علاقه مندان بازی های رایانه ای و نرم افزارهای گرافیکی است. این محصول فوق العاده که برای رقابت با GT300 شرکت Nvidia پا به عرصه خواهد گذاشت، بی شک رقابت سخت و نزدیکی را با همتای خود در پیش دارد و هرگونه اضهار نظری در مورد پیروز این میدان زود و غیر کارشناسانه خواهد بود.

سلام
من امروز عضو انجمن شدم .
چند سوال داشتم .
1- قرار بود ATI چند کارت 40 نانو متری ارائه کنه که فقط 4770 اومده از بقیش خیری نیست؟
2-قیمت 4870 تو بازار جهانی به شدت افت کرده به نظر شما خرید این کارت با توجه به احتمال ورود کارت های 4860
به صرفه هست یا نه؟
3-سیستم کولینگ 4770 فقط از پایه های مسی استفاده کرده این باعث نمی شه در زمان اور کلاک دما بیش از حد بالا بره.

فکر میکنم این مورد معقول باشه به دلیل اینکه DX11 دارای توانایی های جدید اضافه شده هست که در DX9 وجود نداره پس کارت در حالت DX9 راحت تر میتونه پردازش تصویر رو انجام بده ولی وقتی بخواد جزئیات بیشتری در حالت DX11 رو مورد پردازش قرار بده کمی افت فریم و حتی 26 درصد به قول شما امری بدیعی هست .
DX11 بدین معنا نیست که شما تعداد فریم بیشتری از کارت دریافت کنید بلکه کیفیت ، فیزیک و پتانسیل طبیعی تر از محیط 3d دریافت خواهید کرد که خود مستلزم پردازش بیشتر و فشاز زیاد بر روی پردازنده گرافیکی خواهد بود .

شروع فروش کارت گرافیک Sapphire HD4860 در آمریکا
این کارت بر اساس هسته 55 نانومتری RV790 ( همان هسته HD4890 ) همراه با 640 پردازنده جریانی و باس حافظه 256 بیتی عرضه و قبل از تنها جهت فروش در بازار چین تولید میشد.
میزان حافظه در این کارت 1 گیگابایت GDDR5 همراه با فرکانس کاری 3000 مگاهرتز ( Effective ) خواهد بود.
فرکانس هسته نیز 700 مگاهرتز تعیین شده شده است.

در حالی که همگان منتظر عرضه کارت های گرافیکی جدید کمپانی Nvidia در ماه ژانویه سال 2010 بودند خبرهایی مبنی بر تعویق زمان عرضه این کارت های گرافیکی به ماه مارچ به گوش می رسد. این در حالی است که کمپانی Microsoft در ماه مارچ سال 2009 فناوری DirectX 11 را معرفی کرده است و در حال حاضر خانواده AMD Radeon HD 5000 تنها تراشه های گرافیکی موجود در بازار هستند که از این فناوری پشتیبانی می کنند.
به نظر می رسد پروژه ی Fermi کمپانی Nvidia با تاخیر عجین شده است. در حالی که انتظار می رفت Nvidia کارت های گرافیکی مبتنی بر معماری Fermi خود را در نمایشگاه CES در معرض نمایش قرار دهد, این کمپانی به شرکای تجاری خود اعلام کرد که تا ماه مارچ منتظر کارت های گرافیکی Fermi نباشند.
کارت های گرافیکی جدید Nvidia با پشتیبانی از DirectX 11 و حافظه های GDDR5 و مبتنی بر تراشه های 40 نانومتری Fermi - GF100 در ماه مارچ راهی بازار خواهند شد و GF-104 اولین نسخه آن ها خواهد بود. با توجه به برتری کارت های گرافیکی AMD Radeon HD 5800 در رده Highend, تا آن زمان Nvidia با کارت های گرافیکی رده های پایین تا متوسط خود همچون Geforce GTS 250 , Geforce GT 240, GeForce GT 220 و Geforce 9800GT به مقابله با AMD خواهد پرداخت. لازم به ذکر است کمپانی AMD نیز قصد دارد کارت های گرافیکی جدید خود شامل Radeon HD 5670 / 5650 (با نام رمز Redwood) و Radeon HD 5450 (با نام رمز Cedar) را که در این رده قیمت قرار دارند در ماه ژانویه روانه بازار کند.

ATI Radeon HD 5670
Micro-Star International (MSI) has released its R5670-PMD1G graphics card based on AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5670 GPU for mainstream markets.
The MSI R5670-PMD1G adopts designs including GPU voltage adjustment, DisplayPort and military-class components.
The MSI R5670-PMD1G graphics card is equipped with 1GB GDDR5 high speed memory and features MSI's exclusive Afterburner overclocking utility to enhance the GPU and memory clocks, as well as GPU voltage.
The MSI R5670-PMD1G will also adopt military-class components, such as Hi-c cap and tantalum capacitors to ensure stability during overclocking, the company said. The all solid capacitor and all solid-state choke design can extend the lifespan of the graphics card and avoid high frequency noise generating from choke vibrations under high loading, MSI claimed.

According to a post at Nvidia's Facebook site the GF100 will be 10.5 inches long and thus have the same size as graphics card of the Geforce GTX 200 series. Converted to the metric system this would mean that the Fermi card is 26.7 centimeters long - slightly shorter than the GTX 295 (27 centimeters) and the Radeon HD 5870 (28 centimeters).
GF100: Tech specs
What we do know up to now is that the GF100 is supposed to have three billion transistors. Furthermore another post at Nvidia's Facebook site says that the Fermi card offers hardware support for GPU overvoltaging for extreme overclocking. From the latest pictures of the demo systems shown at the CES we can also see that the GF100 supports 3-way SLI (Only the registered members can see the link) (since Nvidia is running such systems in Las Vegas), has no backplane like Fermi based Tesla cards and has one 6-pin and one 8-pin power connector - thus the card can draw up to 300 watt.
Given the facts that there is a video showing Nvidia's card running the Unigine DirectX 11 benchmark (Only the registered members can see the link) and that Nvidia is showing a tech demo, called Supersonic Sledge, that utilizes hardware tessellation (a DX11 feature) at the CES, it is quite certain that the GF100 will support the latest DirectX version.
GF100: New Anti-Aliasing mode?
Via Facebook Nvidia announced that the GF100 will support a brand-new anti-aliasing mode. But Nvidia doesn't reveal anything more than 32x Anti-Aliasing, so it is unclear how the sample rate is achieved. It's a matter of speculation if Nvidia makes the modes that are currently available in combination with additional tools like Nhancer only a officially supported part of the Geforce software or creates a new 32x mode

تقریبا سه ماه پس از فروش اولین نسخه از کارت های گرافیکی AMD Radeon HD 5000 Series این کمپانی در نمایشگاه CES اعلام کرد که آمار فروش کارت های گرافیکی Radeon HD 5000 از عدد 2 میلیون نیز فراتر رفته است. پشتیبانی از DirectX 11, کارایی بالا, قیمت مناسب و تاخیر کمپانی رقیب در ارائه کارت های گرافیکی DirectX 11 را میتوان از مهمترین عوامل موفقیت این سری کارت های گرافیکی AMD دانست.
با توجه به این آمار فروش خیره کننده AMD قصد دارد خانواده Radeon HD 5000 را برای نوت بوک ها نیز عرضه کرده و بازار فروش تراشه های گرافیکی نوت بوک ها را نیز به تصرف خود در آوررد. در همین راستا AMD اولین نوت بوک مبتنی بر تراشه گرافیکی Mobility Radeon HD 5000 را در نمایشگاه CES در معرض دید عموم قرار داد.
با توجه به اطلاعات منتشر شده از سوی این کمپانی سریعترین عضو این خانواده Mobility Radeon HD 5870 نام دارد. بر خلاف سری های قبلی کارت های گرافیکی کمپانی AMD که برای نوت بوک ها نیز عرضه شده اند, این کمپانی این بار اقدام به کاهش توانایی های تراشه های گرافیکی نوت بوک ها تا نصف مقدار نسخه Desktop آنها کرده است, عملی که کمپانی nVIDIA نیز در مورد تراشه های گرافیکی خود انجام می دهد. بر همین اساس Mobility Radeon HD 5870 بر خلاف نسخه Desktop خود (1600 پردازنده جریانی, 80 واحد Texture و 32 ROP) تنها از 800 پردازنده جریانی, 40 واحد Texture و 16 ROP بهره می گیرد. با این اوصاف می توان Mobility Radeon HD 5870 را از لحاظ کارایی تقریبا با Radeon HD 5770 برابر دانست.
علاوه بر Mobility Radeon HD 5870 شاهد نسخه های ارزان قیمت تری از این خانواده خواهیم بود از جمله Mobility Radeon HD 5600 , Mobility Radeon HD 5700 (با 400 پردازنده جریانی) و Mobility Radeon HD 5400 با 80 پردازنده جریانی.
لازم به ذکر است که خانواده Mobility Radeon HD 5000 نیز همانند نسخه های Desktop خود از فناوری محبوب ATI Eyefinity بهره مند خواهند بود. کمپانی های ASUS و MSI نیز بر استفاده از این تراشه های گرافیکی در محصولات خود تاکید تاکید کرده اند. نوت بوک های مجهز به تراشه های گرافیکی Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series در نیمه اول سال جاری میلادی روانه بازار خواهند شد.

AMD is expected to launch its latest ATI Radeon HD 5000-series graphics chips, the ATI Radeon HD 5450 in early February and ATI Radeon HD 5570 in mid-February, according to sources from graphics card makers.
The HD 5450 is aiming to replace the previous generation ATI HD 4650/4550/4350 graphics cards while the HD 5570 will target the mid-range market.
AMD recently launched its DirectX 11-ready HD 5670 graphics chip to supersede its HD 4670. The HD 5670 supports both 512MB and 1GB GDDR5 memory and features core frequencies of 775MHz and memory frequencies of 1000MHz.
AMD confirmed it plans to launch ATI Radeon HD 5400 and HD 5500-series products before the middle of February, as part of its aim to offer outstanding graphics with Microsoft DirectX 11 technology support for mainstream markets.

So far, it is unclear by how much this product will differ from the Radeon HD 5970. This graphics adapter already uses a full-featured dual-Cypress design, with the only difference being the lower clock speed of 725/1000MHz, compared to the Radeon HD 5870 which has the same GPU running at 850/1200MHz. ASUS will likely use stronger VRM circuitry in order to enable its card to reach the higher clocks, as electrical limitations are the only likely reasons behind the lower speeds of the HD 5970.
The rumors have, as of yet, not been confirmed so there is no way of knowing for certain if ASUS is really releasing such a card in the near or distant future. In fact, in a recent conference call, Advanced Micro Devices stated that custom-design accelerators similar to the HD 5970 were unlikely to debut before the second quarter of the ongoing year. However, this does not at all imply that there is any type of restriction in place.

شرکت Club 3D دو نمونه از کارت های گرافیکی ATI Radeon یعنی HD 5850 و HD 5870 را به شکل Overclock (روشی که در آن با بکارگیری برخی ابزار، سرعتی بیش از آنچه در مشخصات اصلی محصول ذکر شده، بدست می آید)شده به بازار عرضه کرد تا بدین ترتیب زحمت بسیاری از بازیجوها کم شود.
هر دو محصول عرضه شده با دو خنک کننده (خنک کننده آبی و فن 90 میلی متری) عرضه شده که علاوه بر تولید صدای کمتر، با کاهش 10 درصدی گرمای پردازنده کارت گرافیک، شرایطی ایده آل را برای دستیابی به سرعت های بالای پردازشی فراهم می کند. HD 5850 (نسخه Overclock) با 1440 پردازنده، فرکانسی معادل 760 مگاهرتز را فراهم می آورد که در کنار 1 گیگابایت حافظه DDR5 با فرکانس کاری 4200 مگاهرتز، انتخابی مناسب برای بسیاری از بازی های کامپیوتری است.
اما HD 5870 (نسخه Overclock) با 1600 پردازنده، فرکانس کاری 875 مگاهرتز و 1 گیگابایت حافظه DDR5 با فرکانس کاری فوق العاده 4900 مگاهرتز انتخابی مناسب برای حرفه ای های عرصه فناوری اطلاعات است، که البته قیمت 375 پوندی آن نیز اثباتی بر این مدعاست. تنها نکته باقیمانده آنکه هر دو کارت گرافیکی از واسط حافظه 256 بیتی استفاده کرده و ضمن ارائه دو خروجی DVI، یک HDMI و پورت نمایشگر از DirectX 11 نیز پشتیبانی می کنند.

شرکت Nvidia یکی از بزرگترین شرکت های فعال در زمینه گرافیک کامپیوتری که سال گذشته پس از واگذار کردن بخشی از بازار کارت های گرافیکی به شرکت ATI و چندین دعوای حقوقی با سایر شرکت ها همچون Intel، حال و روز خوشی ندارد، با مشکلی جدید روبروست.
در امتیازدهی انجام شده، حاصل از بررسی دو سیستم Samsung N510 مجهز به ION و Acer Aspire one 532G مجهز به ION2 نتیجه ای نه چندان خوشایند برای Nvidia حاصل شده و آن کاهش 15 درصدی کارایی ION2 نسبت به ION است. در این آزمایش Samsung N510 در نرم افزار 3D Mark003 امتیاز 3513 را کسب کرد و این در حالی است که Acer Aspire one 532G امتیازی بهتر از 3049 کسب نکرد. اگرچه در آینده Nvidia قادر خواهد بود تا با ایجاد برخی تغییرات، این کارایی را بهبود بخشد، اما آنچه کمی غیرمنطقی به نظر می آید، آنست که چرا پردازنده ای که تا کنون میلیون ها دلار سرمایه و هزاران ساعت وقت صرف آن شده است، در اولین حضور خود در عرصه رقابت بایستی نمایشی چنین ضعیف از خود بجا بگذارد.
لازم به ذکر است که ION یک پردازنده ی گرافیکی با ابعاد بسیار کوچک و مصرف پایین است که در واقع نقطه ورود شرکت Nvidia به دنیای پردازنده ها محسوب شده و تا کنون محصولات بسیاری بر پایه آن به بازار عرضه شده است.

پاسخ NVIDIA به مقایسه انجام شده. بطور خلاصه آنها دقت این تست را زیر سوال برده اند و اعلام کردن که هنوز پردازنده ION2 به بازار ارائه نشده و تستی برای آن وجود ندارد.
"I can't vouch for the accuracy of the benchmark that was performed at that show. I believe the units there were pre-release systems," an Nvidia spokesperson told TG Daily.
"We haven't provided performance data yet for the public, we'll have more details coming in early March."

همانطور که انتظار میرفت بردهای غیر رفرنس برای کارتهای مبتنی بر GTX480 خودشان را نشان دادند (البته یک مقدار زودتر از اونی که انتظار میرفت)
شرکت Taiyanfa برد طراحی شده خود را برای کارت GTX480 نشان داد . البته این برد با انتظارات از بردهای غیر رفرنس یک کم فرق داره . همانطور
که حتما بارها شنیده اید تراشه GF100 تراشه ای است که توانایی های مهندس و طراحی ریزپردازنده ها را در عصر حاظر به چالش کشیده و آنرا تا انجا
که ممکن بوده به مبارزه طلبیده و این یکی از عللی بود که این تراشه در مراحل اخت با مشکلات و تاخیرهایی روبرو شد.
اکنون این برد نیز امکانات مهندسی طراحی امروزه را به چالش می طلبد و تفاوتهای زیر را با برد رفرنس دارد.
1- تنها از دو سوکت 6 پین برای دریافت برق ایتفاده میکند
2-طول آن نسبت به برد رفرنس 5 سانتی متر کوتاه شده و اندازه ای در حد GTS250 دارد

اين روزها NVIDIA و شركاي تجاريش در حال عرضه كارتهاي GEFORCE 460 ميباشند . شركت گالاكسي كه متاسفانه زياد تو ايران حضور مداومي نداره كارتي بر اساس 460 آماده و عرضه كرده . البته چند مدل مختلف به نظر من پياز داغش رو خيلي زياد كرده ببينيد . كلا سري 400 فقط داره با جنجال تبليغاتي و هزينه هاي زيركانه NVIDIA براي سايت ها ماركتش رو داره جا ميندازه از نظر من هياهوئي براي هيچ

خبر درستی هست اسوس ARES گرافیک جدیدی هست که به دو پردازنده 5870 بر روی یک برد مجهز شده و این امر باعث افزایش توانایی نسبت به 5970 پیدا کرده و از توان مصرفی دو کارت 5870 به صورت همزمان هم توان پایین تری داره و به نسبت قیمت بیشتر :دی

معرفی فن آوری Flex در کارتهای گرافیک سافایر سافایر به عنوان قدرتمند ترین و بزرگترین شریک ATI در جهان شناخته میشود سافایر تکنولوژی منحصر بفردی را در سری کارتهای ۵ خود به نام Flex معرفی کرده است که در ادامه به معرفی آن میپردازیم:
Sapphire FleX Technology چیست؟
کلمهFlex (خم کردن ،پیچ دادن ،سیم نرم خم شو) در معنا ما را یاد Flexibilityیا انعطاف پذیری می اندازد، شاید شما هم اسمی از فن آوری ATI Eyefinity شنیده باشید ولی هنگام خرید کارت گرافیک به شما گفته باشند که نیاز به مانتیور های مخصوص دارید تا این سیستم را بتوانید اجرا نمایید.

سافایر برای حل این مسئله فن آوری Flex را خلق کرده است .این فن آوری که در کارتهای با نام سری Flex edition که در انتهای اسم کارت گرافیک می آید به عنوان مثال کارت گرافیکی Sapphire HD5770 Flex edition کاربر را قادر می سازد از مانتیور های DVI برای استفاده از فن آوری Eyefinity بهره ببرند حتی اگر سه مانتیور آنها از یک برند نباشند.

همچنین با وجود چهار درگاه HDM /DP /DL-DVI-I /SL-DVI-D که بر روی کارت تعبیه شده است بتوانند با استفاده از یک مبدلActive DP ؛مانیتور چهارمی به سیستم اضافه و همزمان از نمایی به وسعت ۴ مانیتور به صورت متقارن و یا مستقل بهره ه مند شوند که به روش SLS (Single Large Surface)معروف می باشد.

سافایر تکنولوژی بزگترین کارخانه و تامین کننده کارتهای گرافیکی بر پایه فن آوری های AMD دو مدل کارت جدید گرافیکی را با قابلیتهای جدید و کارایی بالا در سری HD 6900 عرضه کرد.
SAPPHIRE HD 6970 از تراشه جدید AMD بهره گرفته است این تراشه که در درون خود موتور گرافیکی دارد دارای ۲۴ SIMD و ۱۵۳۶ پردازشگرهای جریانی با ۹۶ واحد بافت سازی بالاترین مقدار پردازش و محاسبات موازی را برای انجام کارهای گرافیکی به ارمغان اورده است. سرعت کلاک این پردازنده گرافیکی برابر ۸۸۰ مگاهرتز و با توجه به کار گیری ۲GBحافظه های پر سرعت GDDR5 که در سرعت ۱۳۷۵ مگاهرتز ( ۵٫۵Gb/S به طور موثر) بالاترین کارایی را در این سری به ارمغان اورده است. موتور مفروش سازی جدید سه برابر قویتر از نسل قبلی کارایی دارد همچنین گزینه های AA و فیلترینگ جدید کیفیت بالاتری را در نمایش تصاویر ممکن ساخته است.
از دیگر قابلیتهای جدید مدیریت پویای انرژی است با نام AMD PowerTune می باشد که کارت HD 6970 را قادر ساخته تا با استفاده از گزینه های جدید در Catalyst Control Center توان مصرف در انجام بازی برابر ۱۹۰ وات و در حالت بیکاری به پایین ترین حد ممکن یعنی تنها ۲۰ وات به فعالیت بپردازد.
بسته بندی های ویژه
سافایر سه مدل را در این سری عرضه کرده است که یکی از آنها باندل و بسته بندی این کارت با بازی جدید attlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. می باشد که درکیف قابل حمل آلومینومی به همراه بازی قابل خریداری می باشد همچنین در همین زمان سافایر مدل SAPPHIRE HD 6950 را معرفی کرده است که دارای ۱۴۰۸ پردازگشر جریانی و ۸۸ واحد بافت زنی با سرعت پردازنده گرافیکی ۸۰۰ مگا هرتز و سرعت حافظه ۱۲۵۰ مگاهرتز با قیمتی پایین تر از SAPPHIRE HD 6970 در دسترس می باشد.
پشتیبانی از Microsoft DirectX 11 و DirectCompute 11، قابلیت چند مانیتور بودن Eyefinity با وجود خروجی های ۲ عدد dvi یک درگاه HDMIو دو درگاه mini-DP دست کار بر را برای انجام هر کاری باز گذاشته است
نسل سوم UVD نیز بار سنگین پردازش تصاویر را از دوش پردازنده اصلی برداشته است و برای پردازش و رمز گشایی فایلهای تصویری با محتویات blu-ray و HDکه از کدک های vc-1 ,H264 استفاده میکنند از خود پردازنده گرافیکی کمک گرفته میشود.
فن آوری های جدید نیز مانند Blu-Ray 3D ، Dolby TrueHD ,DTS-HD Master Audioنیز بخوبی در این سری قابل استفاده می باشد

درگاه vga
طی خبری که در سایت اسلش دات منتشر شده است تمامی شرکتهای سخت افزاری قرار است که پشتیبانی و به کار گیری درگاه VGA را از سال ۲۰۱۵ کنار بگزارند.
همچنین پشتیبانی از LVDS نیز در سال ۲۰۱۳ به پایان خواهد رسید .
حال باید دید درگاه هایی همچون HDMI,DISPLAY PORT ,HDBASE T و شاید درگاه های ارتباطی جدید دیگری بتوانند جای خالی این درگاه را پر نمایند.

سلام. من قصد دارم تا سقف یک میلیون تومن برای کارت گرافیکی که هم امکانات طراحی سه بعدی و کار گرافیکی بالا بهم بده و هم برای گیم مناسب باشه هزینه کنم. ممکنه بدون تعصب روی مدل خاصی بهترین کارت موجود با این رقم رو بهم معرفی کنید؟
