در مورد Catalyst 8.8 گفته شده که کارایی در CrossFire را افزایش خواهد داد همچنین از نسل دوم تکنولوژی Power Play 2.0 پشتیبانی می کند . این تکنولوژی سبب ذخیره بهتر انرژی و همچنین کاهش دما خواهد شد.
Catalyst 8.8 همزمان با 4870 X2 و در تاریخ 12 آگوست عرضه خواهد شد .

بلاخره امروز nVIDIA درایور PhysX برای پشیبانی از بعضی مدل های 8 و 9 رو Release کرد .
این ورژن درایور ( 8.07.18 ) به صورت رسمی برای GPU های سری GT200/G92/G96 منتشر شده بود ، ولی خبر ها هاکی از این هست که این درایور در GPU های G94 ، G84 هم عمل کرده و
تنظیمات مربوط به PhysX در nVIDIA Control Panel فعال شده و امتیاز CPU در 3DMARK Vantage نیز افزایش چشمگیری داشته است !

یه بررسی (Only the registered members can see the link) جالب که در اون سعی شده Crossfire در حالات 2x4850 و 2x4870 و 4870 با 4850 و 48XX با 38XX
مورد بررسی قرار بگیره.
در این ریویو به هیچ وجه آپشن 38XX و 48XX نتونسته موفقیت آمیز باشه!
در مورد 4870 با 4850 هم اینطور گفته شده که با این کار 4870 مجبوره Downclock شده و در فرکانسهای 4850 (با رم GDDR3 در مقایسه با GDDR5 در 4870) کار کنه!
در این بررسی به جای 4850 با 4870 انتخاب 2x4850 توصیه شده!
و بررسی نتایج در 3Dmark Vantage

با توجه به کارایی سری 4000 میشه گفت که ATI خیلی پر قدرت برگشته و داره Nvidia را له میکنه !:1. (27):یعنی واسش شاخ شده !
یک کارت GTX280 توانی حدود 360 وات میخواد در حالت لود که کارایی آنرا با 2 تا 4870 و مصرف واتشون و P/P که مقایسه کنید میبینید که Nvidia نفس نمیتونه بکشه :
تو این بنچ مارک میبینید که 2 تا 4870 کراس شده 430 وات در حالت لود میخواد که GTX280 حدود 360 وات مصرف میکنه در صورتی که یک کارت هست ! کاراییش را با GTX280 که مقایسه میکنید میبینید که اصلا 280 بدرد نمیخوره !

و کارایی:

واقعا دیگه خرید کارت Nvidia به صرفه نیست تازه اگر بخوای SLI کنی که هیچی !
2 تا کارت 4870 با توان 430 وات و کارایی فوقالعاده که داره و هزینه کمی که داره بهترین انتخاب هست
در صورتی که اگر بخوای 2 تا GTX 280 یا حتی GTX 260 بندازی باید خیلی هزینه بکنی که تازه بازم اون P/P را نداره
چون مینش گرونه پاور باید قوی تر باشه و هزینه ی زیاد تر واسه خرید کارت ! ولی ATI با یک مین 150 تومانی هم کراس میشه کرد و پاور ضعیفتر هم میخواد و کارایی خیلی زیاد !

نتیجه تست کرایسیس را نمیشه روش حساب کرد چون این بازی واسه Cross و sli بهینه نشده و من حتی دیدم که Quad SLI 9800 GX2 از 1 عدد 9800GTX ضعیف تر عمل کرده میشه گفت که در بیشتر شرایط تاثیر منفی روی بازی میزاره این SLI و Cross Fire !
حتی تو 3DMarks Vantage با اینکه GTX280 درایور فیزیک هم داره باز از کراس 2 تا 4850 هم ضعیف تر عمل کرده !:1. (2)::1. (27)::whistle:

دوست عزیز به نظر من این دمای که تو عصر ارتباط زده یه کم چرت هست یا کارت مشکل داشته که این دما رو داده من به زودی 4870 x2 می گیرم منتظرم از دوستان یا فونیران shappire رو 4870 x2 موجود داشته باشن تا بگیرم ان وقت دقیق می تونم بگم که دماش چقدر هست ضمننا الان کولر های نیتروژنی برای 4870 امده تو ایران هم به زودی میاد

به علت نتایج ضعیفی که این سری کارت گرافیک شرکت انویدیا در مقابل سری 4870 شرکت amd به دست اورده این شرکت قصد داره یه مقدار در معماری این سری کارت گرافیک های خودشو تغییراتی بده.
این تغییرات شامل استفاده از معمعاری 55nm و از استفاده از Shader Processors از 192 به 216 است که مصرف برق کمتر و پرفورمنس بهتری نسبت به معماری قبلی این کارت گرافیک داره.

Geforce 9400 has 128-bit memory
Super cheap channel card
After introduction of 9500GT, Nvidia plans to release a Geforce 8400GS replacement. It is not a brainier, the new card will simply be branded as Geforce 9400.
Some pieces of the specs look rather interesting, as this card will come with core clocked to healthy 700MHz while the DDR2 memory will work at 550MHz.
The most interesting part is that the memory uses 128-bit interface, which is a great step forward from 64-bit that you find with 8400GS. The new card will have twice the bandwidth of its predecessor and you can expect some significant performance increase.
A 700MHz clock is also a great achievement for a low-end card, and 55nm makes a real difference. It should launch shortly.

همچنین 4670 نیاز بسیار نزدیک به 3850 گزارش شده است .
اگر قیمت 4650 در محدوده قیمت 9500 GT باشه باز هم nVidia بازنده رقابت است .

شرکت s3 اقدام به عرضه دو کارت دیگر نموده است . این کارتها دوباره حرفی برای گفتن ندارند . به دلیل باند مفید مموری کارت 64 بیتی هست . از نظر مشخصات کلی با یک کارت امروزی خیلی فاصله دارند . به نظر من کارت گرافیکهای آنبرد amd و nvidia خیلی قوی تر از این دو کارت هستند

AMD در حال کار بر روی محصول جدیدی است که احتمالا با هسته RV770LE عرضه خواهد شد . این محصول بخشی از خانواده 4800 و ویرایش ضعیف شده 4850 است که احتمالا در ماه اکتبر عرضه خواهد شد.
در این محصول فرکانس کاری هسته و حافظه و نیز Shader کاهش می یابد . همچنین باس حافظه نیز از 256 به 192 خواهد رسید.

کارت geforce 9600GSO مبارز شرکت NVIDIA برای رقابت با کارت 4670 RADEON میباشد
current graphics roadmap is a complete mess. The big graphics giant renamed so many cards and the endless numbers of products on the market are now based on G92.
The Geforce 9600GSO is no exception, and this is a reworked 8800GS card with a new name that should fight the soon-to-launch RV730-based Radeon 4670. Currently, Geforce 9600GSO sells for €80+ and in order to be price competitive with the Radeon 4670, Nvidia will have to drop the price a bit lower.
Today you can buy Geforce 8800GT, 8800GS, 9600GSO, 9800GT, 9800GTX and a few other variations, all based on the good old G92 chip. You simply have to know when to stop and until Nvidia gets a real new mainstream chip on the market, ATI will clearly have bigger chances.

عرضه اولین کارت گرافیکی Radeon HD 4870 با خنککننده غیرفعال

ايتنا- شرکت گیگابایت اولین کارت گرافیکی Radeon HD 4870 با خنک کننده غیرفعال را به بازار عرضه کرد.
در این کارت که با یک گیگابایت حافظه به بازار عرضه میشود از پیکره بندی پیش فرض خود شرکت AMD استفاده خواهد شد. این پیکره بندی که پیش از این در کارتهای با خنک کننده فعال مورد استفاده قرار میگرفت میتواند یک نسبت کارایی به قیمت خوب را در اختیار کاربران قرار دهد. کارت گرافیکی GV-R485MC-1GH که از تکنولوژی جدید خنکسازی گیگابایت استفاده میکند به یک گیگابایت حافظه GDDR3مجهز شده است که مانند نسخه های مرجع در فرکانس موثر 2000 مگاهرتزی عمل میکند. علاوه بر این فرکانس پردازنده گرافیکی نیز در حد 625 مگاهرتز ثابت نگاه داشته شده است تا این کارت حداقل دارای کارایی برابر با کارتهایی باشد که از خنکسازی فعال استفاده میکنند.
گیگابایت قبلا نیز از این تکنولوژی که با نام Multi-Core cooling یا خنکسازی چند هستهای شناخته میشود در کارتهای سری 9600GT خود استفاده کرده بود. این سیستم خنک کننده از چندین لایه تشکیل شده است. در هر لایه تعداد بسیار زیادی از پرههای بسیار نازک قرار گرفتهاند که سطح تماس حرارتگیر با هوا را تا حد ممکن افزایش میدهند. سه هسته مسی که به صورت گرههایی در قسمتهای مختلف حرارت گیر قرار گرفتهاند نیز این سیستم را کامل کرده و توانایی انتقال حرارت را افزایش میدهند.
در نهایت گیگابایت تصمیم گرفته است از یک خنک کننده ثانویه نیز در این سیستم استفاده کند. این خنککننده ثانویه وظیفه انتقال هوای خنک از محیط بیرونی کیس به داخل را بر عهده دارد. گیگابایت ادعا میکند که سیستم خنک کننده چند هستهای قادر است تا دمای کلی کارت گرافیک را تا حدود 7 درجه نسبت به مدلهای مشابهی که از خنککننده فعال استفاده میکنند کاهش دهد. قیمت این کارت مشخص نیست، اما به نظر نمیرسد اندکی تفاوت قیمت برای کاربرانی که نیازمند سیستمهای بدون صدا هستند، چیزی از جذابیتهای این کارت بکاهد.

بی میلی پارتنر های nVidia در عرضه GTX 260-216 Stream Processor
همانطور که اطلاع دارید nVidia برای رقابت با ATI کارت قدیمی خود را با نام GTX 260 ویرایش کرده و با یک تغییر اصلی ( تبدیل 192 پردازنده جریانی به 216 ) ارایه کرده است.

در مورد Big Bang II (Only the registered members can see the link) از انویدیا قبلا مطالبی قرار داده شده بود این خبر مربوط به عرضه درایور سری Forceware 180 (یا R180) از انویدیا هست که قراره ضمن پشتیبانی از OpenGL 3.0 مشکل دارندگان سیستمهای با قابلیت SLI را در زمینه استفاده از چند مانیتور حل کنه.
یک مزیت دیگه این درایور اینه که با اون میتونید کارت گرافیکهای انویدیا را مثل کارتهای ATI که Crossfire میشن را با هم SLI کنید مثلا:
شما میتوانید 3870X2 را با 3870 در کنار هم Crossfire کنید اما 9800GX2 و 9800GTX چنین قابلیتی را ندارن که با عرضه این درایور این امکان برای کاربران فراهم خواهد شد.
افزایش کارایی در کارتهای سری Quadro هم با نصب این درایور مشاهده خواهد شد.

سایت Vr-Zone (Only the registered members can see the link)ادعا کرده که درایور 180.10 را (به تاریخ اول اکتبر) دریافت کرده و بزودی آنرا مورد آزمایش قرار خواهد داد.

شرکت تولید کننده نیمه هادی در تایوان (TSMC) با ATI و Nvidia قراردادهایی را برای تولید پردازشگرهای کارت گرافیک با فرایند تولید سیلیکون 40nm دریافت کرده.
گام بعدی ATI در زمینه پردازشگرهای گرافیکی RV870 خواهد بود و از اونطرف Nvidia با سری GT216 که به نظر میرسه نسل جدیدی از کارتهای High-end سری GT200 هست این رقابت را ادامه میده. در راستای همین رقابت انتظار میره در کریسمس امسال با یه Cut-price حدود 20 درصدی در قیمت محصولات این دو شرکت مواجه بشیم.
خبر خوب دیگه اینه که تا June 2009 این دو شرکت GPU های 40nm خودشونو عرضه خواهند کرد.

کارت Radeon HD 4830 به منظور پر کردن رده متوسط بازار و خلا موجود بین 4670 و 4850 عرضه شده و قیمتی در حدود 130 دلار دارد.
مشخصات این کارت (بخصوص میزان مصرف) تا حد زیادی به HD 4850 نزدیک است.
میتوان این طور بیان داشت که این کارت بیشتر مناسب کسانی است که میخواهند با صرف هزینه کمتر کارتی با هسته گرافیکی سری RV770 داشته باشند.

در بررسی که نویسنده سایت Techpowerup (Only the registered members can see the link)با نصب GPU-Z جدید روی کارت 4830 انجام داده متوجه شده تعداد واحدهای سایه زنی در کمال تعجب 560 عدد شناسایی شده در حالیکه با توجه به اطلاعاتی که خود AMD در مورد این کارت منتشر کرده این تعداد باید 640 عدد باشه.
لارم به تذکر هست که با این کاهش در تعداد پردازشگرهای جریانی ما شاهد کاهش 10% در کارایی این کارت خواهیم بود.
بنابراین با سایر بررسی کننده ها هم موضوع را در میان گذاشتن و از اونها هم در مورد نمونه های در یافتیشون جویا شدن و متوجه شدن در برخی از کارتها این مشکل وجود داره و در برخی نه!
در ادامه متوجه شدند که بیشتر مشکل از سوی برد رفرنس بوده. AMD در مورد این مشکل اظهار داشته:
این اشکال به خاطر استفاده از یک pre-production BIOS (بایوس پیش تولیدی) در برخی کارتها به وجود آمده و با تعویض بایوس به نسحه مناسب مشکل به راحتی حل میشه.
بنابر این به اون دسته از کاربران که این مشکل را دارند پیشنهاد میشه آخرین نسخه منتشر شده بایوس را (در صورت ملاحظه این اشکال) از سایت سازنده دریافت و توسط نرم افزارهایی مثل ATI Flash بایوس کارتشون را به نسخه مناسب ارتقاء بدن.
AMD کاملا مطمئن هست که این مشکل توسط آپدیت بایوس به طور کامل برطرف میشه.

در جریان این بررسی سایت منبع یک بررسی در کلاکهای دیفالت کارت HD4830 توسط همین کارت و HD4850 با تعداد پردازشگرهای جریانی مختلف انجام داده و اثبات کرده که کاهش کارایی در اثر کاهش تعداد این پردازشگرها (در GPU های RV770) یک رابطه خطی هست:
AMD 4830 (560 SP) = 219.8 FPS
PowerColor 4830 (640 SP) = 250.5 FPS
HD 4850 @ 4830 clocks (800 SP) = 309.8 FPSOnly the registered members can see the link

عکسهایی که مشاهده میکنید متعلق به کارت گرافیک Radeon HD 4850X2 هست با برند Sapphire که دارای دو GPU مدل RV770 هست.
این کارت دارای 1600 پردازشگر جریانی هست و ظاهرا رم آن 2GB DDR3 خواهد بود.
این کارت برای تامین توان خود به یک کانکتور 8 پین و 6 پین نیاز دارد.
بصورت رسمی زمان عرضه معین نشده اما انتظار میره تا ماه آینده به بازار عرضه بشه.

ATI با عرضه کارتهای با GPU مدل RV770 توانست بخوبی خودش را دوباره در بازار کارت گرافیک مطرح کند و بخوبی با nVIDIA در این زمینه رقابت کند.
اما در اخبار اینطور آمده که انویدیا به زودی قصد عرضه کارتهای جدیدی را دارد که با هسته نوسازی شده ی GT200 با نام GT200b (در دو مدل Geforce GTX 270 و Geforce GTX 290) علاوه بر کارایی مناسب قابلیتهای بهتری را نسبت به RV770 برای OCing ارائه میدهد.

اما از آنطرف ATI برای عرضه نسل جدید GPU های خود با کد رمز RV870 هنوز آمادگی ندارد و این باعث نگرانی این شرکت در مورد بازار داغ کارت گرافیک شده بنابراین برای پر کردن این خلا قصد دارد GPU های جدیدی را عرضه نماید با کد رمز RV790 که میتوانیم آنرا یک محصول بهینه شده نسبت به RV770 به حساب آوریم که در ساخت آن AMD قصد دارد با همان ماشین آلات کارایی واقعی 10 کلاستر ALU این GPU را بکار گیرد و در کارت جدید آنرا نشان دهد.
در حقیفت با این کار ATI قصد دارد کاری را انجام دهد که سازندگان برد (حتی با استفاده از کولینگهای non-refrence نیز موفق به انجام آن نشده اند) و آن بهبود قابلیتهای آن در رسیدن به کلاکهای بالاتر است تا بتواند با افزایش کارایی موثر 800 پردازشگر های جریانی که در RV770 بکار رفته است محصول متفاوتی به بازار عرضه کند. (این کار با اعمال تغییرات مهندسی در قسمتهای مختلف پردازنده گرافیکی RV770 انجام خواهد شد)
این عمل (بهبود کارایی پردازشگرهای جریانی) با هدف افزایش توان پردازش سایه (SCP) در این GPU انجام میشود تا اولا کلاکهای بالاتری (نسبت به کلاکهای رفرنس) در GPU جدید بکار گرفته شوند و ثانیا AMD بتواند در مقابل کارتهای سری GT200b حرفی برای گفتن داشته باشد!
زمان عرضه احتمالی: کریسمس! (همزمان با عرضه GT200b از سوی nvidia)

nvidia بزودی در محصولات خودش یک کاهش قیمت برای بدست آوردن سهم از دست رفته خودش از بازار ایجاد میکنه. در ربع چهارم سال جاری AMD موفق شده با افزایش 40 درصدی سهم خودش از بازار کارت گرافیک زنگ خطر رو برای Nvidia به صدا دربیاره.

باید دید در مقابل محصولات ATI FirePro V8700 چطور عمل می کنه.
احتمالا قیمت این کارت گرافیک تا حدودی در بازار اروپا پائین اومده و با قیمت €100 عرضه میشه.البته شرکت های مختلف قصد دارن قیمت این محصول رو پائین تر بیارن که یکی از این اونا شرکت HIS هست که این سری رو با قیمت پائین تر نسبت به بقیه عرضه میکنه.

اين كارت گرافيك كه ATI HD4830 نام دارد از هسته RV770LE بهرهمند است كه در مقايسه با برادر بزرگتر خود يعني ATIHD4850 تفاوتهايي دارد.كاهش فركانس كاري هسته ورم به 575مگاهرتز براي هسته و 900مگاهرتز براي رم، كاهش تعداد ساژزنها از 800 به 640، كاهش تعداد واحدهاي Texture از 40 به 32 برخي از اين تفاوتها است.

اونطوری که من از وب گردی دستگیرم شد
یکی از دلایل عمده پهنای باند عالی ونتایج خوب کارت جدید انودیا
استفاده از اون کوچولوی معروف بالایی است
یعنی nf200 revA3
قبلا این چیپ رو در 780I با ورژن A1
و بعد هم گفته شد که روی 9800GX2 ورژن A2 بکار رفته
ولی اینبار انودیا با تغییراتی مطلوب
I believe with each new revision of this chip, we get a faster (lower latency) pci express controller.
It's probably a wee bit faster of an SLI chip
با این شرایط چیپ های X58 هم که از NF200 استفاده کردن قبلا یعنی ورژن قبلی A1
در شرایط برابر با درایور های جدید که خواهند توانست از هر سه کارت نهایت برداشت رو بکنن نسبت به بقیه در 3WAY
نتایج بهتری خواهند داشت خصوصا در فعال شدن فیزیک .
یعنی X16 X16 X16
که فعلا با NF200 قابل استفاده است .
مثلا ASUS P6T6 WS REVOLUTION X58
بهتر از X16 X16 X8
یا X16 X8 X8
و نکته مهم استفاده از چیپ جدید روی بردهای جدید امکان کاراییی کاملتری از SLI رو به بردهایی که 20 دلار هزینه خواهند کرد خواهد داد برای ورژن جدید
NF200 A3
که نتایج بسیار بهتر از 5 دلار خواهد بود
خوب انودیا هم خوب این چیپ رو با تغییرات منبع در امد کرده :lol:
در حال حاضر نمونه خوبی داریم در مولتی کارت که کم کم داره
مشاهده میشه و در شرایط استفاده از فیزیک نتایج بهتر هم خواهد بود

همینطور که مشاهده میکنید این جدول که در VR-Zone قرار داده شده نشان دهنده زمان عرضه GPU های 40nm در سال 2009 میلادی توسط Nvidia هست.
در مورد استفاده از GDDR5 در کارتهای انویدیا برای دسکتاپ هم اخباری قبلا قرار داده شده بود و انتظار میرفت که این تکنولوژی در سال 2009 در محصولات این شرکت به کار گرفته بشه.
البته هنوز اخبار دقیقی در مورد بکار گیری آن و محصولات مورد نظر برای عرضه این تکنولوژی به طور رسمی در دسترس نیست. بنابراین خبر زیر رسمی نیست.
آقای Zhenggang Chang، یکی از مهندسان ارشد سخت افزار Nvidia هست که در زمینه Signal integrity (یکی از زیر مجموعه های علوم الکترونیک که به بررسی کیفیت سیگنالهای الکترونیکی میپردازه) فعالیت داره و در جریان ایجاد چیپهای BR04 و G84p و G96 (اسم رمز چیپ مورد استفاده در 9500GT) نقش داشته و همچنین در حال حاضر از دست اندرکاران GT214 هست و شبیه سازیهای فریم بافر را با GDDR5 برای چیپهای G96 و GT214 انجام داده.
GT214 نام رمز چیپ جدید انویدیا هست که بر اساس معماری GT200 ساخته میشه و به نظر میرسه در رده mainstream با قدرتی در حد GTX260 و GTX280 عرضه بشه.
حالا با توجه به نکات گفته شده سایت منبع خبر (Only the registered members can see the link) اینطور نتیجه گرفته که با توجه به اینکه این مهندس تا حالا بر روی چیپهای Mainstream کار کرده و الان داره بر روی چیپ GT214 کار میکنه، انویدیا قصد داره ابتدا GDDR5 را برای چیپهای رده میانی ارائه بده و سپس با بررسی بازخوردها در رده High-end هم از اونها استفاده کنه.
البته شاتهایی هم از پروفایل این مهندس ارشد در این سایت قرار داده شده.

این کارت با دو نوع هسته با کد رمز G94-359-B1 و G94-350-B عرضه خواهد شد.
دلیل اینکه انویدیا عنوان Green Edition (ویرایش سبز) را برای این کارت در نظر گرفته کاهش میزان ولتاژ هسته در این کارت به میزان 0.1 ولت نسبت به هسته G94 سابق است که باعث شده در ویرایش جدید نیازی به کانکتور PCI-E 6-Pin برای تامین توان مورد نیاز نباشد.

همین طور که میدونید این شرکت به تازگی قرار همکاری با شرکت AMD رو بسته است برای تولید کارت شرکت ATI با برند این شرکت یعنی XFX

سایت Hardware-Infos (Only the registered members can see the link) گزارش داده AMD در حال ساخت مدلهای مهندسی (ES) با استفاده از GPU های با هسته RV790 و RV740 است. با توجه به ES بودن این محصولات انتظار میرود تفاوتهایی با محصول نهایی داشته باشند اما با توجه به موارد قبلی محصولات نهایی تفاوت محسوسی در فرکانس کاری نهایی نخواهند داشت.
با توجه به مطالب ذکر شده مدلهای RV790 دارای Core Clock در محدوده 750MHz خواهند بود و بزرگی حافظه در آنها 1024 مگابایت میباشد که از چیپهای GDDR5 شرکت Qimonda با سرعت 900MHz استفاده شده است. رابط حافظه نیز با پهنای 256 بیت در دسترس خواهد بود.
مدلهای RV740 هنوز به طور نهایی تکمیل نشده اند اما انتظار میرود با سرعت 700MHz برای هسته، رابط 128 بیتی حافظه، رم GDDR5 به مقدار 512 یا 1024 مگابایت با سرعت 800 الی 900 مگاهرتز این کارتها را مشاهده خواهیم کرد.
انتظار میرود تعداد پردازشگر جریانی در GPU های با هسته RV740 به 640 برسد و تعداد ROP ها 16 باشد. اما در مورد RV790 هنوز اطلاعی در دست نیست.
برخی منابع از 40nm بودن GPU های جدید AMD در سری RV700 خبر داده اند که هنوز رسما تایید نشده است:

ضمن اینکه در مورد کارتهای سری 5000 شرکت AMD دو نکته به صورت قطع پیشبینی شده:
1- پشتیبانی از DX11 در این کارتها.
2- استفاده از تکنولوژی ساخت 40nm

به نظر میرسد اولین نمونه ها از این GPU در CeBIT امسال در ماه مارچ به نمایش در آید و در آوریل ما شاهد حضور آن در بازار مصرف باشیم.
در اخبار اینطور آمده که انویدیا قصد دارد چهار SKU با طراحی PCB متفاوت بر اساس این GPU عرضه کند.
کارتی که در تصویر مشاهده میشود براساس طراحی PCB نوع P692 با کد رمز D10M1-30 عزضه میشود. کلاک هسته در این کارت 550MHz خواهد بود در حالیکه کلاک واحد سایه زنی 1375 میباشد. این کارت از 512 مگابایت حافظه GDDR3 با کلاک 800MHz استفاده میکند و رابط مموری با پهنای 64 بیت فعالیت خواهد کرد. تعداد واحدهای سایه زنی در حال حاضر مشخص نشده است

ATI پردازنده گرافیکی RV790XT (Only the registered members can see the link)خود را تحت عنوان Radeon HD 4890 عرضه خواهد کرد با فرکانس هسته 850MHz (با ولتاژ 1.3:1. (27):) و فرکانس رم 975MHz GDDR5 که میتوان تفاوت قابل ملاحظه ای در مقایسه با 4870 را در آن مشاهده کرد. از نظر ATI این کارت 20% از 4870 سریعتر خواهد بود که با این حساب پیشبینی میشود رقیب جدید GTX285 در این مبارزه پیروز خواهد بود. قیمت عرضه این کارت بین 199 تا 249 دلار آمریکا در نظر گرفته شده!:wink:
از سوی انویدیا نیز اخباری مبنی بر عرضه 9800GT Green Edition (در نیمه مارچ) با فرکانسهای 550 برای هسته و 1375 برای واحد سایه زنی و GTS240 (Only the registered members can see the link)(در آوریل) مدل Rebrand شده از 9800GT اصلی حواهد بود. قیمت GTS240 با توجه به قیمت 120 دلاری 9800GT و باتوجه به سیاستهای انویدیا در رقابت با رقیب این محصول (4830) در حدود 100 دلار خواهد بود.

انتظار میرود برخی از سازنده ها با اعمال تغییراتی در کولر آنرا با محصول قبلی کاملا متمایز نشان دهند. ضمن اینکه انویدیا GPU جدید خود را 20 دلار ارزانتر در اختیار پارتنرها قرار میدهد که این کاهش بطور مستقیم در قیمت اعمال خواهد شد. (150 دلار به 130 دلار)
رقیب مستقیم ATIی این کارت، Radeon HD4850 خواهد بوذ.
