Win7codecs is an audio and video codec package for Windows 7.
These windows media center codecs are the only codecs you will ever need.
You can choose any media player you want; to play all movies and video clips.
Streaming video is supported in several formats in all popular web browsers.
The following file types are enabled and fully supported:
amr | mpc | ofr | divx | mka | ape | flac | evo | flv | m4b | mkv | ogg | ogv | ogm | rmvb | xvid
All of the above file types can be queued to the Windows Media Player Playlist using a right-click.
You won't need to make any adjustments or tweaks to enjoy your media immediately.
Windows Media Player and Media Center will instantly recognize all your files as playable.
MKV playback is fully supported.
DXVA accelerated H264 playback is supported.
You have the ability to choose what is installed and where to install it.
You can select to remove specific portions without removing the entire package.
You can also re-add the removed items at any time.
It does not contain a media player and it does not associate file types.

Win7codecs x64 Components Addon v2.2.5
This installation requires Win7codecs v2.2.1 to be installed as a prerequisite.
This package contains x64 versions of the settings application so these codec adjustments are completely independent of each other on Windows 7 systems and can co-exist together on x64 systems.
The following filetypes are enabled and fully supported in x64 Media Center on all versions of Windows:
amr | mpc | ofr | divx | mka | ape | flac | evo | flv | m4b | mkv | ogg | ogv | ogm | rmvb | xvid
To setup FLAC audio playback in Windows Media Center you must initially select the x64 WMP as the default player. For Windows 7 Media Center users, this can be set back to the 32 bit afterwards.
This codec pack contains a Settings Application to use in conjunction with your windows media center setup which will enable each user to choose different splitters and decoders for specific file types.
The application will also allow you to choose from 10 different speaker configurations from 'same as input' and all the way up to full 7.1 channel output.
UNINSTALL your previous version before installing a newer release.
When uninstalling this product, do so BEFORE removing Win7codecs v2.2.1
